Saltwater Country is a collaborative artwork between Goldberg Aberline Studio and artist Graham Toomey from the Wongaibon / Wiradjuri Nations.

 

Collaborating together in a unique co-design process, we created a series of colourful lanterns that tell the story of the Saltwater People.

 

Installed at Sydney's Rocks for 12 months, the lanterns capture the sun during the day, and glow from within at night, representing the enduring spirit of Indigenous culture.
